Wilson Fitiao was born in American Samoa. While attending Faga'itua High School he took Mary Pritchard's Siapo classes. Wilson describes his classes with Mary Pritchard as one of the cornerstones of his artistic journey. "She opened up a whole new world for me.". Mary Pritchard gave Wilson his first taste of Samoan symbols and patterns. After high school Wilson used the knowledge he had gained and became a traditional Samoan Tattoo artist. Today, he carries on the traditions that were handed down to him and is a well known Siapo and Tattoo artist.
